Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock

For the first post of the new year, I may as well begin one of my new year resolutions. Actually this is just a general push I have had for several years so it isn't just specific to this year. I have been on a mission to liven up the game of Rock Paper Scissors!

I have been playing Cockroach, Nuclear Bomb, Foot for several years and I find this to be more fun. In this version Cockroach beats Nuclear Bomb, Nuclear Bomb beats Foot and Foot beats Cockroach.



The hilarious show The Big Bang Theory has created another permutation (in the video above), which is very fun as well. It is called Rock, Paper Scissors, Lizard, Spock. Below is a t-shirt about the Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock version from Thinkgeek.com

Sahara Cheetah

I am not oblivious to wildlife in Africa but before this morning I hadn't heard of the Sahara Cheetah. Here is the article that I read along with the picture below. They estimate that there may be 200 of them throughout the Sahara but it is difficult to count them as there are only a few photo sightings of them.
