Life - Planet Earth - Nature...

Today will be about how literally awesome the nature filmmaking is that the BBC makes. People in the US generally assume this is done by the Discovery Channel as that is where they see the episodes but this is not true. The Discovery Channel likes to take the amazing footage that the BBC airs without commercials and in its entirety but Discovery Channel edits the footage to add commercials (the edited shorter version is on the Discovery DVD versions as well) and adds a random American voice (Sigourney Weaver - Planet Earth, Oprah Winfrey - Life) rather than the original David Attenborough. Final note before the trailers, these are always less expensive on Amazon than they are on the Discovery website!
